BOOKING
CONDITIONS
To enable everyone who uses
the caravan to get maximum enjoyment from their holiday,
the following conditions apply:
CONTRACT
The contract is for the hire
of the property for short term holiday letting, and
will be entered into when Eline Armstrong makes written
confirmation of the booking to the hirer, and required
payment has been received.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 25% of the rental
fee is payable in order to confirm the booking. There
is an additional £100.00 deposit which is refundable
after satisfactory inspection of the property at the
end of the rental period.
The balance of the rental
fee will be due for payment eight weeks before the holiday
commencement date
If the booking is made within
eight weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full
accommodation rental fee and additional deposit will
be required when booking.
Failure to make full payment
at the appropriate time will result in the cancellation
of the booking and the deposit will be forfeited.
Reminders will not be sent.
CANCELLATION
The Hirer should notify Eline Armstrong as soon as
possible should the booking for any reason need to
be cancelled.
In the event of cancellation the following will apply:
• Prior to 8 weeks before holiday
a sum will be charged equal to the initial payment.
• 4 – 8 weeks before holiday 50% of the hire charge will be
charged.
• Less than 4 weeks before holiday the full sum will be charged.
• If the caravan is re let for the cancelled week then a refund
of the total sum paid, less the non-refundable initial
payment, will be made.
HIRER’S
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hirer is responsible for the property and
is expected to take good care of it. All equipment
and utensils etc, and the property itself are to be
left clean and tidy at the end of the stay.
All damages / breakages should be reported as soon
as they occur. The owners reserve the right to
charge for any damage, breakages and extra cleaning
which are not deemed to be normal wear and tear. Please
remember that this is also our holiday home too and
is solely maintained by us!
SHORT BREAKS
Minimum 4 nights - only available between
September and December excluding school holidays,
by prior arrangement, with Eline Armstrong.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The arrival and departure day is Saturday for weekly
lets, unless otherwise agreed with Eline Armstrong.
The caravan will not be ready for occupation before
2.00pm, and it must be vacated by 10:00am on the day
of departure, unless otherwise agreed with Eline Armstrong.
Failure to respect the departure time may result
in an extra charge for the waiting incurred.
NUMBERS OF PEOPLE
OCCUPYING THE PROPERTY
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number
of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property.
Only those named on the booking form are permitted
to occupy the caravan.
The leader of the party must be over 21 yrs.
No single sex groups.
KEYS AND DIRECTIONS
Directions will be sent only when full payment
has been received. Whenever possible I, or
a member of my family, will be available to show
you to your caravan and answer any questions you
might have.
GAS AND ELECTRICITY
Gas and electricity charges
are included in the cost of renting the caravan.
LINEN AND TOWELS
Pillows, duvets and bed linen
are all provided. We would ask that you provide your
own towels.
PETS
Pets are not allowed in the
caravan
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be made
immediately to the owner who will endeavour to rectify
the problem as soon as possible, to ensure the continued
enjoyment of your holiday. The complaint must be confirmed
in writing within seven days of the end date of the
Hirer's holiday.
LOST PROPERTY
A minimum charge of £ 10 is made for the return
of lost property after your departure. We accept no
responsibility for items reported lost which cannot
be found. Property is at all times the responsibility
of its owner.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CARAVAN AT ANY TIME and
great care must be taken to dispose safely of all
cigarette butts to prevent fire and also to ensure
safety of wild life.
