2008 VISITOR’S BOOK

The grown-ups said:

May - John    Fantastic Holiday. Plenty to see and do.  The Caravan was clean and very comfortable.  We will be back again soon.

June  - Debra and Gordon   Excellent holiday.  Very warm welcome from Lucie and Rob to your wonderful caravan, which is so homely & clean.  Everything we needed was here.  The view is so peaceful and relaxing.  We would definitely love to come back.  We would love to stay for 2 weeks. Thank you very much.

June – Joan & Sid     Another wonderful week.  Very relaxing. We will be back again!

June – Chris and Paul  Thanks Eline.  We had a great week, weather very kind to us, we were looking forward to a relaxing time & it was certainly that – recharged our batteries ( no better place to recharge them!)  As normal such a lovely welcome with your note, fresh flowers & welcome pack which was wonderful.  Will definitely look forward to coming here again.  Very reluctant to leave.

July -  Alan and Jo    We have had a wonderful week.  Thank you very much!  The caravan is beautifully equipped with everything we could ever need and very comfortable.  The children have loved playing outside and despite our worries about the lake have been very safe.  We’ve been lucky with the weather and spent lots of days and evenings on the beach.  I’m sure we’ll be back if you’ll have us!

July – Jacky, Lucy, Amy and Tony            A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week.  We highly appreciated the wonderful view and we thought the caravan was very charming. We will be sad to leave today.

July – Gemma, Edwin, Grace and Cristian            A fantastic week in a homely caravan.  The views are lovely and have been enjoyed by all. The children loved the outside space, especially the vast uncrowded beach.  Thank you, we are sad to leave but we will  be back next year.

July -  Calvin, Alison, Lucy and Amy         A fantastic week!  Everything we hoped for and more!  We are all very sad to leave.  Fingers crossed we will be back next year.  Thank you x x

August – Claire, Mike Lucy and Jame        3rd year back and a brilliant time!  Lots of beach, fish and chips & out and about.  Back next year hopefully.

August – Gordon, Louise and Hannah       We have had a wonderful week in this super caravan. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing with great views on the lake all the time.

August – Martin, Lisa, George and Harvey          We have all had a lovely week here.  The kids have loved the beach and crabbing in the harbour.  Bewilderwood was a great day out and the train from Holt to Sheringham.  The caravan was fantastic a real home from home.  Thank you for all the goodies you left on our arrival they were really appreciated.  We all hope to return for another visit.

August – Aidan, Ben, Matthew, Geoff and Judy    Thank you for a lovely holiday in a lovely place in a lovely, well-appointed holiday home.

September -  Sarah, Chris and Barry       We love the caravan which was a real treat for us as it was Sarah’s first time.  The lake and surrounding area is so very peaceful whatever the weather does!  We have really enjoyed our week – thank you very much for making us so welcome. I think we will be back.

September – Nice welcome.  Lovely caravan and very well equipped.  Great views. Went about and saw lots.  Good weather – we had a great time.  Thank you!

September – Lovely week.  Caravan beautifully situated and very well equipped.  Weather has been kind to us despite the chill easterly wind.  Saw some wonderful birds on local reserves, and especially enjoyed the family of Little Grebes just here on the lake. Thank you for the welcome pack and very clean caravan.

October – Alex and Sadie – Thanks for a warm welcome and all the extra goodies you left.  Everything clean and very comfortable, have  had a great week despite the rain and gales!  Would love to come back again.

October – Gill and Paul       We’ve had a wonderful week, everything has been perfect for us.  We love the caravan – wow – the best we have ever been in,  Thanks for the welcome pack and warm welcome from you.  Lovely views and very peaceful plus good weather has all added up to blissful week.  We’ll definitely be back.  Thank you.

October – John & Sylvia     Thank you for a wonderful holiday, the warm welcome, the flowers & food goodies,everything we could need in your lovely holiday home.  Beautiful views, we will be back.

October – Carol and Phillip  Many thanks we had a wonderful week, caravan was very well equipped and the welcome pack and flowers were a lovely surprise, very thoughtful.  The weather was kind and my twitcher husband say 90 different species of birds.

November – John, Karen, Dominik & Eliza Another wonderful week helped by the warm welcome + fantastic weather.  Lots of migrant birds and fantastic evening displays by the starlings.

November – Joan & Sid      A very relaxing week – weather really good for walking.  We loved seeing the seals on the beach again and trying to identify the various birds.  We have been very cosy and comfortable in your caravan.  We hope to be back in June.

December – Pat and Martin We’ve stayed in many caravans, but never one sited so beautifully.  Thank you for such a warm welcome.  We’ve always loved Wells but now we’ve been spoiled and won’t be able to settle for less than this.  We look forward to staying again if you will have us.

And the children say . . . .

Georgia aged 8      Loved it here.  I really liked the view of the lake.  It was a clean caravan I slept really good. A great caravan, Lovely beach.

Jamie aged 7         I loved are stay! 1 of my favriote times was seeing the seal’s. My favriote time was at the beach when the water was really deep and I swam 30 metres.
